The Appartamento TCA = Temperature Control Adjustment Is the evolution of Rocket Espresso's iconic Appartamento espresso machine with a modern aesthetic and features that take the Appartamento up a gear. The newly developed machine functions and improvements deliver an even better coffee experience in the home, raising the benchmark for performance in this category of premium domestic espresso machines. 

 WHOLE NEW DESIGN:

The round contours give a whole new aesthetic to this perspective of the machine. The smooth curves draw the eye in, and a new vertical orientation for the Rocket logo Focus on the holes: The distinctive circles on the machine sides have been accentuated with a debossing treatment, giving them a three- dimensional quality

There’s much more to the new Appartamento TCA by Rocket than design, however. Developments in electronics have allowed us to introduce a new series of features and functions that guarantee an outstanding cup of coffee.

The Rocket Appartamento is based on the early model Giotto has become an iconic home espresso machine since the 1990's where Ennio Berti had a strong belief that the world is ready for a coffee revolution. The main difference being the Appartamento is smaller and uses slightly simpler technology, such as a pressurestat rather than a PID. One gauge instead of two, simpler body panelling, etc. So it's basically a detuned Giotto. Starting at the very end of the process, by creating the perfect espresso, the engineers work in reverse to create the ultimate espresso machine. Purpose built with the very best in traditional craftsmanship and technical knowledge, all to reflect the commercial machine experience at home. Yet everything about it is meticulously redesigned.

Andrew and Daniele at Rocket were thinking that all machine were starting to look the same, stainless steel boxes as such. So they try and break the mould on every machine to have a uniquness and point of difference, keeping the Rocket Espresso brand traditional yet fresh. On the Rocket Appartamento they went for two different finished, cut into the side panels. On this model it was the White panel insert they went with, creating a unique and memorable machine.

Rocket Espresso Appartamento have take features directly from their commercial espresso machine range and given the Rocket heat exchange machine superior technology that is normally only found in full sized commercial espresso machines. This philosophy dates back to the Rocket Espresso history and mission which started in the 1990's where Ennio Berti had a strong belief that the world is ready for a coffee revolution.

Rocket Appartamento machines not only look and are finished beautifully, they are well thought of and designed to have a modern heart inside a traditional looking yet simple exterior. They have worked hard to keep modern technology externally to a minimum in order for the Rocket espresso machine to be at one with the barista, allowing the barista to be present in the beautiful moment that is making espresso coffee.

In the early 1990's, espresso machine engineer Ennio Berti resigns from one of Italy's major espresso machine manufacturing companies. He believes the world is ready for a coffee revolution - a commercial quality domestic espresso machine. Starting at the very end of the process (the perfect cup of coffee), Ennio works back to create the ultimate espresso machine. Everything about it is meticulously redesigned. The boiler construction is built with a lead free brass end plate to increase thermal retention, and then nickel plated for protection against copper oxidation. The thermo siphon system layout is completely re configured. Cool touch Steam and hot water wands are incorporated. While the competition reduce their production costs with less expensive parts, and cutting corners, Ennio's machine is built with commercial grade components regardless of cost. He creates a visually stunning machine that is soon to become a classic.

Common questions:

• Are your machines pre-tested? Yes, our machines are bench-tested by the Australian Importer. This is done to test issues haven't occured on transport from Europe. On high end and technically more complicated machines we bench test and calibrate the machines ourselves to your desired specifications. We can discuss this with you on purchase.
• What is the warranty on machines? All new Rocket machines sold by Coffee Parts have a 24-month back to base parts and labour warranty.
