Unique coffee enjoyment For maximum enjoyment Caffeo® Solo® has a pre-brewing feature: The freshly ground coffee is moistened with water before the actual brewing, this releases the flavours in your coffee. Furthermore you can adjust the grinding degree and coffee strength in three stages to get your ideal taste.

The intuitive operating panel with integrated LED symbol display is reduced to essentials, making it child’s play to use. You can adjust the coffee strength or choose descaling and cleaning by simply selecting the appropriate symbol. Furthermore Caffeo® Solo® is equipped with a 0-Watt switch which enables to disconnect from the mains while your personal settings are kept.

Individual coffee preparation

Indulgence without compromises: Choose your brewing temperature and coffee strength. With only one single rotation you can adjust the amount of coffee to the prefered cup size (30 - 220 ml).

Removable milk frothing nozzle

The powerful milk frothing nozzle provides an easy preparation for wonderful airy milk froth and hot milk. It can be removed and cleaned in an convenient and easy way.

In addition to information on the perfect coffee, illustrated step-by-step instructions take you through the maintenance programmes. The app also gives you help with understanding the functional status of your coffee machine with the aid of the diagnostic too

0-Watt switch

Upon activating the 0-Watt switch, SOLO® and milk disconnects from the mains. And of course, your personal settings are kept. This On / Off function is programmable, that the machine disconnects from the mains at the desired time automatically.

About Melitta

In 1908, Melitta Bentz, a 35-year-old housewife from Dresden, Germany, invented the first coffee filter, receiving a patent registration for her "Filter Top Device lined with Filter Paper" from the Patent Office in Berlin on July 8. She founded the company bearing her name the same year. In the 1930s, Melitta revised the original filter, tapering it into the shape of a cone and adding ribs. This created a larger filtration area, allowing for improved extraction of the ground coffee. In 1936, the widely recognised cone-shaped filter paper that fit inside the tapered filter top was introduced. The '102' became the most popular.

Melitta has continued to develop new techniques to improve the shape, performance, material and production process of its filter systems.
