Blades/burrs conical 63mm right hand (rh) - Mazzer Kony original
- In order to maintain the coffee grinder's performance quality, we recommend replacing the burrs once the following consumption levels have been reached. - 600kg - 800kg
After changing the burrs, how do I find the grinding point? - KONY - Espresso at approx. 7 numbers from the millstones contact point
Did I replace the burrs correctly? - Once the burrs have been changed, to check that the operation has been carried out correctly and to make sure of the correct parallelism, it is recommended to open the ring nut only 5 notches from the burrs contact point (always found with the engine stopped) and grind 5 / 6 gr of coffee: what comes out should be similar to talc, a very fine and homogeneous particulate (be careful not to grind too much coffee with this setting point due to the risk of clogging millstones). After this check, the appliance can be adjusted to the expressed particle size. Setpoint. Adjustment table
Maintenance - After assembling the new grinders, it is advisable to clean the thread and counter-thread of the adjusting ring well, apply food grade grease to the thread and try to screw the ring nut without the upper grinder holder until the end of the stroke, so as to distribute the lubricant and make sure that it flows correctly of the piece. Once this is done, it will be possible to try the upper grinder holder and ring nut assembly. Make sure that all the springs are in place before closing the appliance.
After Replacing - Before adjusting the grain size after cleaning the appliance, make sure that the grinding chamber and the duct are completely filled with coffee: only in this condition is the grain size actually corresponding to that point of the adjustment obtained. The first doses ground in an empty chamber will be characterized by a significantly larger particulate than will be obtained with the appliance at full capacity.
The First grinds after burr change - At each change of burrs, grind a few doses of coffee. Do not use these first doses of ground coffee for brewing coffee.
